Show #500 - get your intros and requests in (02.09.2010)
If you’re confident with counting in decimal, you’ll know that Bleepshow #500 is coming up very soon. It’s likely to be a 2hr show, it may be split over a few shows, the exact details are still being worked out.
What I do know is that I want your input and contributions. This is your chance to be on an episode of Bleepshow and (hopefully) make it a little different to other shows.
I want you to select your favourite netlabel or Creative Commons music track that fits the Bleepshow style, and record a personal introduction for it. I’ll build the show from requests and selections, and you guys can do all the track introductions for a change :) You’re welcome to select a track played in a previous show, or something that’s brand new, or something that is a classic in its own special way.
Send your introductions (in MP3, WAV, AIFF or other sensible file format) to bleepshow [at] gmail.com, along with the details of your favourite netlabel/CC track. You don’t need to email me the track itself, if I’m having trouble tracking it down I may get in touch with you for a copy.
If you’re not comfortable recording your voice, that’s totally cool – just email me and include details of your request, and I’ll read your name out (if you’d like me to, of course).
Trust me when I say it’s worthwhile introducing your favourite track, when you record your voice and listen to it back for the first time, it sounds strange, but you get used to it very quickly – and you’ll have thousands of people downloading and listening to your favourite track.
Game on!

Great Idea, Pete!
I know exactly which track.
And I’m glad the show is back.
Best,
Oliver

P.S. Is there any particular style you would like for the announcements?
E.g. “The next track is X on Y”
